recap of our summer mission trip
We Shared & Received Much Light On Our Recent Trip To The Chesapeake Bay!
Rising 7th graders through graduating seniors joined us on our summer mission trip to the Chesapeake Bay! We will spent the week lodging at Camp Occahannock on the Bay - enjoying meals together, a canoe trip, team building games, and nightly worship. Each day we completed service projects including a wheelchair ramp for a resident on the Eastern Shore, feeding 300+ households in Norfolk, Va through a mobile food pantry, and completing building projects for Camp Occohannock on the Bay. Our last day (our "fun" day) was spent visiting the Assateague and Chincoteague Islands, seeing the wild ponies, and stopping by the Island Creamery!
